ED&I Manager - Leading Membership Body - London with hybrid working

This is an exciting opportunity for an ED&I Specialist to join one of the UK's leading Membership bodies.

You will be responsible for creating and delivering the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion strategy and for championing the organisation's commitment to celebrate diversity, challenging inequality, and building an inclusive environment for all. Your key accountabilities will include:-

  • Coordinating and managing ED&I initiatives and projects including equality impact assessment
  • Producing the annual internal/external report and data snapshot on the organisation's ED&I activity
  • Managing the response to ED&I related member enquiries
  • Working closely with the various internal and external staff engagement groups
  • Maintaining a good working knowledge of current equality, diversity and inclusion best practice
  • Preparing and delivering presentations and support the drafting of board level papers
  • Leading the ED&I Oversight Group and ED&I Steering Group meetings
  • Working closely with Executive Management Team and the Chief Operating Officer

You should be an experienced ED&I Specialist with a track record of developing and implementing innovative Equality, Diversity and Inclusion initiatives ideally for a membership body or health organisation. Strong project management skills need to be combined with excellent stakeholder management skills.
