Employment Advisor - Weymouth

Morgan Hunt are working with a well established charity within the Education and Training sector who are looking to appoint an Employment Advisor in the Weymouth area. This is a full time permanent role paying between £26,000 - £28,000. The role will be based on site 5 days per week. The main purpose of this role is to support a caseload of back into employment.

The Employment Advisor - Weymouth will be responsible for:

• Managing a caseload of clients by supporting them to identify and break down barriers to secure employment

• Engaging employers identified by the Business Development Advisor within the local area to source suitable vacancies for their caseload of clients

• Providing training both on a 1:1 and small group basis to their caseload of clients including but not limited to CV workshops and interview techniques

• Offering tailored support and guidance to each client when searching for jobs and interviewing for each post

• Offering in work support and advice to ensure the client remains in sustainable employment

• Achieving monthly KPI targets as directed by the line manager

The Employment Advisor - Weymouth must:

• Have good customer service skills

• Be experienced in working in a target driven environment

• Ideally be knowledgeable of the local labour market

• Hold a grade C or above in both Maths and English

• Be local to the Poole area
