Framework Manager (Tier 1 Contractor)

£65000 - £75000 per annum Plus Bonus & Hybrid Working

Job description

This is an excellent and rare opportunity to work as a Framework Manager for a highly respected Tier one main contractor in Glasgow.

The Framework Manager will promote a culture of collaboration between Supply Chain Partners, Designers and Clients across a number of public procurement routes including Hub Scotland, Crown Commercial Services and Scottish Procurement Alliance, cultivating opportunities to develop and deliver a wide range of interesting public sector projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify future opportunities and develop bid win strategies
  • Support the proposals team in the development of EOI and tender responses
  • Prepare for, and participate in, tender interviews
  • Governance of framework opportunities, targeting repeat business
  • Responsible for development of projects through to Financial Close, particularly programmes and deliverables management
  • Drive continuous improvement in how we bid and deliver projects
  • Have a track record of work winning on a partnership framework
  • Ensuring performance standards are always achieved through KPI collation

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Must deliver to deadlines and able to manage competing pressures
  • Have deep domain knowledge of framework sector Clients and how they manage capital projects
  • Team player with an ability to get the best out of our supply chain and regional business units
  • An effective communicator
  • Ability to know when to lead, follow or develop others into leadership roles
  • Understanding of the process, from managing staged design and build development periods to agreeing bespoke and traditional forms of contract
  • Able to lead change and re-engineer processes whilst maintaining continued commitment from the business units
  • Knowledge of the construction industry would be advantageous but not essential
