Graduate Data Analyst

Morgan Hunt are working with a leading Scottish success story who require an IT graduate on an initial 6 month contract.

They are looking for ambitious graduate who is willing to learn and able to grow in a role that is central to their business.

This role of Data Analyst is an excellent entry level position where you will be able to learn all about the business from the vantage point of how all of the data and processes work. This business is growing significantly, and this temporary role could lead to jobs in Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance or even IT. It is a great way to learn about each of these functions and plan out your next career move.

The main activity in the role is to control and manage master data entry into our Oracle ERP system. This will include but not be limited to: items, customers, suppliers, bills of material. The candidate needs to be able to prioritise their activities to support business requirements and timelines.

The candidate needs to demonstrate good attention to detail in all aspects of their work and be determined to follow procedure in striving to maintain the highest system accuracy and consistency. An appetite to learn and an enthusiasm to assist colleagues around the business in collecting the data efficiently and effectively is required.

You will have good communication and team skills but also a customer focused outlook when working with other department within the business.
