Salary: £52,087 per annum
Contract: Permanent, full time - 35 hours per week

About us
Founded in 1980, The Passage is based in the heart of Westminster, providing practical support and a wide range of services to help transform the lives of people who are, or at risk of, street homelessness.
We are guided by our Vincentian values and offer our clients the resources and solutions to prevent or end their homelessness for good, including routes to employment, benefits, and stable accommodation.
We run a modern Resource Centre in Victoria, three residential and resettlement projects, outreach and health services, homelessness prevention schemes and a pioneering modern slavery referral programme.
About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate HR leader to make an impact. You will be the strategic lead for human resources and volunteering, working closely with the Senior Management Team and the People, Performance and Culture Committee to transform and implement best practice.
You will have a unique opportunity to help shape and develop the human resources and volunteering programmes in line with our new 3-year strategy.
Furthermore, you will help guide the organisation in our commitment to equality, inclusion, and diversity.
About you
You will have leadership experience and be able to evidence your ability to develop and implement successful HR plans. You will be CIPD qualified (minimum level 5) with comprehensive knowledge of employment law and relevant legislation. Additionally, you will have experience of reporting at Board level and working with governance advisory committees.
We look for individuals who have been working in the charity sector at Head of HR level however we would also consider individuals looking to step into their first Head of HR role if you can meet the necessary criteria. It is also important that you have the emotional intelligence to work collaboratively and can also demonstrate a clear commitment to our vision, mission, and values.
