Health and Social Care Assessor

* Assess and support learners working towards full Apprenticeship and standards
* Engaging with individuals and employers and managing your own diary and case load and out in the work place
* Flexible working
* Must have DBS
* FE College in Greater Manchester
* Case load of 40 learners
* Start ASAP
THE ROLE:
Assess and support learners working towards full Apprenticeship and standards
Support learners through their Functional Skills
Visit/observe learners in their place of work to gather evidence towards their Apprenticeship
Carry out remote learner sessions and reviews
Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress
Organise and book learner exams
Manage your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted
Prepare learners for EPA
Ensure learners achieve timely and a high quality of evidence is obtained
Work effectively with L&D team and facilitators
REQUIREMENTS:
Hold a recognised Assessor award: D32/D33, A1 or TAQA or willing to obtain one
MUST hold occupational competency to deliver Health and social care
Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle
Must be flexible with travel
Experience of using a e-portfolio OneFile - Essential
Comfortable using a wide range of ICT packages
