Helpdesk Analyst


Job description

Morgan Hunt are working with a leading organisation who are based in Edinburgh. They require a helpdesk analyst/ 1st Line Support on a temporary postion.


  • To support users via the help desk as required.
  • To assist the systems Engineers with maintaining and developing the businesses telephony and e-mail systems.
  • To assist in the Administration of the businesses Microsoft SQL databases including configuring and maintaining SQL backups
  • To provide customer focused technical support to internal and external clients as required
  • To install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications
  • To produce and maintain IT-related procedures and documentation

Experience Required:-

  • End user ICT support experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Advanced level of IT skills and excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Hardware knowledge including PC, Laptop, Smartphone and Tablet
  • Knowledge and understanding of IT Service Management principles and practice; ideally should have ITIL 4 (or ITIL v3) Foundation certification
  • Excellent organisational and administration skills


  • Edinburgh based
  • Must attend the office once a week
  • Rate Flexible based on Experience
  • 3 month contract
  • Inside IR35
