Job description
I am currently looking for a Homeless Navigator to join one of our clients based in Camden. The role is Monday - Friday 10.00am - 6.00pm.
Responsibilities within the Homeless Navigator role:
- Hold a case load of clients and carry out regular key working sessions resulting in SMART Support plans
- Complete needs & Risk Assessments (clients take an active role in identifying areas of support)
- Advocate for service users around appropriate services such as support plans, Mental Health, Housing and Substance Misuse
- Work with Rough sleepers and those at risk of rough sleeping around delivery structures within the borough
- Work alongside the Floating Support service to obtain a shared goal for the service users
For this role you will need the below:
- Enhanced DBS Childrens Adults check within a year or one that is on the update service
- Housing experience specifically around Private rented sector
- A willingness to learn on the job and work alongside other colleagues to achieve the same goal
