HR Assistant

£11 - £11.50 per hour

Job description

We have a current opportunity for a HR Assistant on a temporary basis, paying £11p/h working for a Non-for-Profit organisation based in Liverpool.

This is a full-time role and will offer hybrid/flexible home working.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for non-profit organisations, with ambitions to become a strong advocate for the organisation.

HR Assistant Key duties include:

  • Provide effective Human Resources administration service covering the full employment lifecycle
  • First point of contact for Hr queries for the organisation
  • Supporting the management team with Hr queries and projects
  • Issuing and updating employee documentation including, contracts, sickness, recruitment paperwork, new starter packs
  • Reporting regularly on key HR metrics/KPI's - sickness absence, staff turnover and workforce demographics
  • Administration and coordination of the end to end recruitment process
  • Ensure the HR Database is updated regularly and accurately reflects current staff conditions and details.
  • Inputting starters and leavers, contractual amendments, change of details, annual leave and recording of sicknesses and other leave.
  • Minute taker at HR meetings

HR Assistant Candidate requirements:

  • Experience in HR administration and an understanding of HR processes
  • Understanding of HR software systems
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages including, word, excel, power point, etc.
  • Interpersonal with good communicative skills and excellent teamwork
  • The ability to work independently and problem solve
  • Ability to work well under pressure to deadlines
  • Can travel to Liverpool, hybrid working
