Interim Quality Manager

Location: South London

Salary: £250-350 a day

Have you got experience working in Quality and are inspired to lead progression at an FE college? Morgan Hunt is working with a fantastic FE College in South London to recruit an Interim Quality Manager.

Reporting into the Head of Learning and Quality, you will be instrumental in leading and inspiring a team to promote positive outcomes, as well as use your expert knowledge to develop the curriculum, facilitating and contributing to improvements in the provision of teaching and learning achievements.

Main responsibilities of the Interim Quality Manager:

  • Develop and implement strategies that will raise college standards.
  • Work collaboratively with Heads of Pathway on quality improvement
  • Independently conduct and contribute to regular reviews and audits to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Work closely with the teaching and learning manager to ensure bespoke CPD sessions are delivered.
  • Work closely with curriculum areas to help support and monitor in-year student progress.
  • Conduct a programme of Deep Dive audits, providing data metrics and analysis.
  • Ensure accurate and robust assessment processes are used across the college whilst liaising with external examiners, awarding bodies, examination boards and other external bodies.
  • Comply with health and safety policy and procedures.
  • Share in the College's commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
  • Awareness and active promotion of the College's Equality and Diversity Policy

The successful Interim Quality Manager will be:

  • Educated to a degree level or have an appropriate professional qualification.
  • Hold a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Understand current difficulties in teaching and learning in FE
  • Can show an ability to develop and maintain links with education.
  • Experience and knowledge of leading, coaching and recruiting staff within an education and training environment.
  • Experience of implementing quality assurance processes
  • Proven written and oral communication skills.
  • Proven organisation skills and meeting deadlines in a timely manner
  • Evidence of continuous professional development
  • Knowledge and commitment to Equality and Diversity
  • Knowledge and commitment to Safeguarding and Prevent
