International Tax Senior Manager (14 Month FTC)

Morgan Hunt are currently working in partnership with a global Magic Circle Law Firm on the appointment of a qualified International Tax Senior Manager on an initial 14 month maternity cover contract, based in their City of London office.

The firm, who operate at the forefront of the legal sector and are well known within the commercial and financial services space boast a global span of over 40 offices spanning over 25 territories and over 600 global partners.

The International Tax Senior Manager position will be based in the firms impressive London office and sit within a Partners Affairs & Tax team of approximately 20 qualified professionals who are based across the the UK and Asia. The International Tax Senior Manager will support the Head of International Tax in the management for global tax affairs for the global group.

The International Tax Senior Manager role and duties will include:

• Providing tax compliance support including the management of teams and advisers to support local CFO's with tax filings.
• Production of non UK reserve calculations, tax equalisation calculations and tax related fiscal accounts notes.
• Advising on potential tax exposures and reviewing as hoc tax filings in non-firm territories.
• Firmwide withholding tax management.
• Tax advisory in relation to mobility issues globally.
• Supervision and management of junior team members.

The ideal International Tax Senior Manager will:

• Have a a professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) alongside a recognised tax qualification (CTA, CIOT or equivalent).
• Have previous experience or exposure within International Taxation.
• Have an incredibly collaborative approach and ability to build strong relationships across all levels of seniority.
• Have very strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex tax and accounting issues both orally and in writing to non-specialists
• Personal or Corporate Tax Experience to Senior Manager level

This International Tax Senior Manager position would really suit an experienced tax accountant seeking a role which offers a wide variety of international tax work coupled with a plethora of interesting and technical tax projects. The opportunity would offer the successful applicant an opportunity to really solidify themselves within an award winning law firm and fundamental international tax experience within the very desirable legal sector. This role is initially on a 14 month maternity cover contract, however my client is open to reviewing candidates currently undertaking permanent positions with notice period's up to 3 months.
