IT Infrastructure Officer/3rd line support, London

Permanent role.

Hybrid working (50% remote)

£42,500- £43,000 Plus excellent Benefits.

A leading charity in London are looking for an experienced 2/3rd line Support Engineer/ 3rd line candidate, based in London. This is a newly created role.

The purpose of the role is to provide 3rd line support. You need strong experience with Microsoft office365 (including backend) and Azure. You will be managing tasks such as deploying changes/update patches/new applications to the IT Infrastructure. You need the experience of being involved in a variety of technical issues and the ability build a pc from scratch.

You will support the IT operations manager and Head of Technology.

Responsibilities of the IT Support Engineer in London-

  • Ensure connections between systems & devices are secure - HTTPS and VPN's and set up /monitor network devices
  • Oversee, maintain and develop Cloud Threat Protections System.
  • Produce reports and dashboards on the state of the charity's. office365/Azure Laptop & mobile phone estate.
  • Monitor & respond to IT security alerts.

Required experience of the IT Infrastructure Officer/3rd line Support person in London-

  • Good working knowledge of Azure Active Directory/Azure Infrastructure and Microsoft Office 365- including the backend. (all done in cloud).
  • Experience of Intune/Exchange Online.
  • Very strong 2/3rd line experience with a strong interest to lead on all 3rd line/ existing 3rd line experience/ experience of troubleshooting in a 2nd/3rd line role.
  • Experience of setting up secure networks -using VPN's HTTPs, firewall and Wireless Access Points.
  • Experience of managing upgrades i.e. upgrading to the latest Zoom.
  • Experience of Automating patching.
  • Experience of having worked in different types of organisations is beneficial vs the same size organisation for a long period of time. Due to the variety of technical issues to manage.
  • Strong IT background.
  • Ability to use initiative and can hit the ground running.
