Latent Defects Surveyor - Social Housing
Salary to £51K - full time / Permanent
London based - flexible working arrangements
Summary
Morgan Hunt are looking for a Latent Defects Surveyor for one of London's most well known and reputable Housing providers. You will be involved in delivering timely resolutions to a number of latent defects and complex cases, working in partnership with consultants, contractors and key stakeholders with overall responsibility for managing multiple cases through to successful completion.
The Role
- Lead on technical investigations of latent defect issues
- Provide solutions to diverse technical issues and oversee remediation work-streams
- Investigate warranty and defect issues and facilitate actions from third party warranty providers & contractors
- Provide sound technical support to the wider business
- Foster effective working relationships with key internal & external stakeholders
You will have
- Sound technical knowledge of buildings and thorough understanding of construction contracts and related legislation
- RICS, CIOB, RIBA qualifications highly desirable
- Experienced within the New Build space, ideally with social housing experience
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills
- Strong communicator at all levels
