Project Administrator

Temporary - Working until next year, no set date but potential to be long term / be made more permanent

Mainly Office working - Based in the city - near Russel Square / Farringdon

£11 - £13 per hour Holiday

ASAP Start

I am currently looking for a Project Administrator who can work with an outstanding Children's charity. The role would be working in the City of London, near Russel Square. This would be a temporary position up until next year, with no fixed end date. This has got the possibility of going longer term as well.

Duties

  • Support the efficient administration of the service ensuring that systems and processes are in place and that information is up to date and accurate.
  • You will be supporting the service by supporting the triaging of contacts from young people and adult referrers, being a point of contact for professionals and external agencies, and dealing with sensitive information appropriately
  • Supporting with the development and implementation of the project, with particularly responsibility for maintaining database of advocacy services and effective administration of the project.
  • Act as a point of first contact for external and internal stakeholders regarding the service.
  • Establish and maintain effective administrative and monitoring systems and resources (rota's, standard letters, databases)
  • Take telephone messages and basic referrals, respond to other communications and provide updates to professionals, children and young people
  • Provide support to internal and external meetings and events
  • General Project support to the team

Requirements

  • Experience of working within a Project supportive role within a charity would be ideal.
  • Excellent attention to detail/accuracy
  • Interest in the issues facing children and young people and desire to learn more.
  • Excellent IT skills - fast and accurate use of Microsoft Office, including Excel, and database and reporting systems
  • Good at taking instruction, prioritisation and multi-tasking.
