Job description

Our client the YMCA St Paul's Group are looking to recruit an interim HR Business Partner to start immediately.

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) is an internal consultant providing empowering business support and generalist HR expertise in line with the employee lifecycle and across all business areas as assigned in conjunction with the Head of Human Resources.

As the HR Business Partner your role will include:

  • Collaborate with HR Shared Service colleagues and managers as appropriate to revise relevant policies and practices and ensure a consistent high standard of recruitment and on-boarding of staff is aligned to the Charity's brand and culture.
  • Work with the Head of Human Resources and with other HR colleagues, they will be responsible for providing generalist HR interventions across designated business areas
  • Provide informed specialist advice and guidance on employee relations across the entire employee life cycle.
  • Support line managers to undertake independent investigations and produce quality reports, and outcome letters.

The successful candidate of the role of HR Business Partner will have:

  • In depth knowledge of Employment law
  • Chartered Member of CIPD, L5 qualification or equivalent educational achievement, or evidence of working towards achievement of the qualification. (We will consider relevant work experience that demonstrates knowledge acquired to required level)
  • Knowledge of current thinking in HR issues and trends and evidence of continuous professional development
  • Considerable experience working within an HR team as a generalist advisor or Business Partner gained within a complex organisation with multiple stakeholders
  • Proven track record in successfully managing a range of complex employee relations issues
