Head of HR, 12 month FTC - Established UK Charity - Flexible location

This is an exciting opportunity for a Head of HR to join an established UK charity going through a period of positive change.

Reporting in to the Director of People you will be responsible for developing, improving and implementing HR policies and processes. Your key accountabilities will include:-

  • Taking the lead on key HR projects including new system implementation
  • Managing complex employee relations issues and leading on TUPE transfers
  • Managing change programmes including organisational restructures
  • Providing effective HR advice and guidance to Regional Operations leaders
  • Leading and developing the HR team
  • Developing and implementing staff benefits and rewards across the organisation
  • Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders and working as part of the senior leadership team


You should be a Head of HR or Senior HR Business Partner with a track record of developing, improving and implementing HR policies and processes in a multi-site environment. Experience of managing a team needs to be combined with a strong knowledge of employment law and of building solid relationships with senior stakeholders.
