We have an exciting opportunity for a Organisational Development Manager to join our team.

Location: Gilwell Park, Chingford, London - hybrid working

Salary: £46,881 per annum (inclusive of Outer London Weighting), Band G

Working Hours: 35 hours per week

Job Type: Permanent

The Organisational Development Manager Role:

Working as a close partner of all members of the People & Culture team, your role will be to support the objectives agreed within our People & Culture Strategy. These cover reward and recognition, wellbeing, general learning & development, leadership development, recruitment, equity, diversity and inclusion, internal communications and staff engagement. The work will include aspects of ‘business as usual activity’ as well as specific projects designed to achieve agreed objectives.

 

As our Organisational Development Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and leading bespoke OD projects
  • Supporting others in the People & Culture team with their OD, HR, systems and change projects
  • Acting as the lead for the People & Culture team in respect of all reporting requirements, including reports to the Project Management Team, the Executive Leadership Team and the People & Culture Committee
  • Working closely in collaboration with operational leaders and senior volunteers

 

As the Organisational Development Manager you will have:

  • Technical OD knowledge and experience
  • An OD qualification, or equivalent professional knowledge gained through the significant experience working as an OD specialist or as an HR generalist with an OD focus.
  • Track record of delivering successful OD projects and supporting organisational change in complex organisations
  • Experience of project management processes and reporting
  • Specific experience of designing and implementing organisational culture change
  • Experience of staff engagement and internal communications
  • General HR experience
  • Experience or knowledge of volunteering
