Peer Support Worker

Up to £21142 per annum

Job description

Do you have lived experience of poor mental health? Have you experience using secondary care services? We need you.

Morgan Hunt are currently working with a female-led organisation in Enfield who are looking for a female Peer Practitioner for a permanent position.

The organisation offers support and advice to women living in Enfield, helping them overcome difficult periods in their life.

The role is ideal for someone with a wide range of life experiences as you will using a person-centred approach to build and develop a therapeutic relationship with clients referred to the service.

Carrying an active caseload, you will work with clients struggling with their mental health in order to determine their recovery needs. You will identify resources within the community, provide expert advice and support and facilitate support groups.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with lived experience who wants to make a difference to those struggling.

The role is 35 hours a week and is office hours.
