Job description

Do you have lived experience of poor mental health? Have you experienced using secondary care services? We need you.

Morgan Hunt are on the search for Peer Workers in London to work with those struggling with their mental health.

Peer Working is using your personal experience and empathy to support individuals currently accessing the services. It is a wonderful service which is integral to the recovery of service users.

Working in informal and informal settings including drop-in groups and cafes, you will connect with individuals and share your personal experiences and help those currently struggling to engage.

Carrying an active caseload, you will work with clients struggling with their mental health in order to determine their recovery needs. You will identify resources within the community, provide expert advice and support and facilitate support groups.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with lived experience who wants to make a different to those struggling.

Lived experience includes but is not limited to: eating disorders, bi-polar, schizophrenia, depression, anxiety.
