Salary from : £27,356,00 to £30,162,00
Location: South East London/Surrey
Hours of Work: 36hrs Mon to Fri between 8am to 5pm
Full Clean Driving Licence Essential - Vehicle will be provided to cover South East London & Surrey Properties

Purpose of Job:
To manage and undertake the day to day general maintenance of charity Establishment /Properties
Impact:
Responsible for undertaking routine and more complex maintenance asks, including assessment of work required, sourcing materials and ensuring work undertaken is compliant with industry and legal standard. Also has responsible for overseeing the activities of contractors engaged to undertake bespoke maintenance and repair tasks as directed by the Regional Facilities Manager, ensuring the work carried out is fully completed and compliant with industry regulatory standard. Membership of the site disaster planning team as required.
Financial Responsibility:
The role may conduct, monitor or budget manage a range of financial transactions, if the role calls for it, and may have medium level authority to commit funds in units of £5k per transaction and a total of up to £100k per year
Decision Making Responsibility:
Required to make decisions on specific work tasks within agreed terms of reference or remit
Main Accountabilities:
Emergency lights inspection and rectification of faults
Replacement of electrical fittings and switches
Fault finding
Liaising with external electrical contractors
Repairing minor leaks
Monthly Legionella inspections of water systems
Clear blocked sewerage pipes
Attend site meetings with the M&E contractor
Responsibilities for Health and Safety liaison for the site, carrying out audits periodically and attending site meetings.
Keeping accurate records/plans of cabling and equipment.
Undertaking regular inspections of the main building and grounds.
Liaising with external service providers as required.
