Curriculum Administrator

Approximately 4 weeks

Location: North London, N14

Salary: £11.23 - £12.40 per hour holiday pay

36 hours per week

Morgan Hunt are working with an exciting client within the Education sector who are currently seeking an immediately available Curriculum Administrator on a temporary basis for approximately 4 weeks. The role will be based on site in North London.

Main Duties:

In your role as Curriculum Administrator, you will be required to undertake some of the following duties:

  • Create / revise word processing, spreadsheet or presentation documents efficiently
  • Contribute and maintain the flow of information by the collection and distribution of mail, internal/external or other media
  • Ensure cover of the telephone system and conduct professional telephone calls to clients / staff etc.
  • Undertake photocopying / printing requests
  • Input data onto the Student Record System as directed by the Deputy Director, Curriculum Manager or Senior Administrator. This can include amendments to student records; student withdrawals and terminations; Notification to Admissions Centre, EIA data. Timetable amendments
  • Provide efficient admissions and course information service ensuring that all applicants receive comprehensive, impartial, accurate and user-friendly information.
  • Assist with student status interviews and inductions
  • Act as a single point of contact to remove any barriers to enrolment, ensuring the customer experience is smooth and efficient.
  • Provide accurate and timely administrative support for ESOL programs in accordance with ACL requirements to ensure the allocation of associated funding.
  • Liaise with curriculum and support staff and use tracking and college systems in place
  • Undertake departmental ordering and receipting
  • Carry out invigilation duties as required.
  • Assist with the administration of assessments
  • Provide a helpful, professional and flexible service
  • Comply with all policies and procedures
  • Participate in and take responsibility for your own learning and development
  • Provide cover or support for other members of your team and undertake any other duties required by your line manager appropriate to your position within the organisation. This includes attending other campuses if required.


  • Have worked in an Education environment previously or within an administrative capacity in a similar sector.
  • Familiar with Management Information Systems and knowledge of how to use these for monitoring, tracking and reporting purposes
  • IT Knowledge including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • DBS Check
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Willingness to learn
  • Approachable with a positive attitude
  • Highly organised and able to prioritise workload
