Position: Executive Director of Finance
Salary: Circa £80,000 (flexibility for an exceptional candidate)
Location: Eastbourne Head Office, Sussex

Permanent. Full-time, 37 hours/week

About you
We look for an accomplished Executive Director of Finance to join our Executive Team. You will promote excellent financial management and ensure robust internal controls so that public money is used efficiently and effectively. You will also assist the COO to develop the College's financial strategy.

Essential criteria:

• A relevant professional qualification as a qualified accountant
• Proven experience of successfully leading and managing multiple teams within a finance function in an FE college or educational establishment.
• Operational finance experience and knowledge
• Experience of the implementation and delivery of commercially focused, compliant finance strategies and complex income models
• Experience of developing and delivering robust financial controls and will have proven experience of producing management accounts, draft budgets, financial plans/projections and end of year financial statements
