Contractual hours: 36

Basis: Term-Time Only Full Time

Salary: £18,503 - £19,980 including London Weighting Allowance - £22,000 to £24,000 depending on experience and qualifications

The Role
The department of Student Support (ALS) wishes to appoint 3 exceptional Learning Support Assistants to provide practical support to young people (14-16, 16-18) and adults with learning difficulties, behaviour barriers to learning and/or physical disabilities to facilitate their independence, access to learning and integration into the life of the College.

Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will have experience of working with people with learning difficultiesand/or disabilities including ASD, MLD, SLD and PMLD and experience of providing personal care in either paid or voluntary work or in the home.

Candidate will hold a Personal skills in English, Mathematics by holding Level 2 qualifications with a 5-year currency (or by undertaking initial assessments at job interview stage and by achieving Level 2 within one year of their appointment date as appropriate)
