Job description

We are looking for an innovative and enthusiastic Teacher to join our Vocational Business team at our South Downs campus to help deliver our new T Level in Finance!

Full time, 1FTE although we will also accept applications from those looking for part time opportunities at 0.5FTE.

The college has introduced the new T Level in Finance in September 2022, and we are now looking for someone with the right the skills and experience to join this growing provision who can lead on the development of the occupational specialisms in the new qualification and support the team in its development and delivery. Relevant experience and knowledge of the finance sector, in particular in areas related to wealth and asset management, including products and services, financial regulations, security and risk management, legislation and technology are essential. The College has partnered closely with the Education and Training Foundation (ETF) to be able to support those looking to get into teaching through the Taking Teaching Further (TTF) Scheme. TTF is a national initiative to attract experienced business and industry professionals with no previous teaching experience to teach in Further Education (FE). We believe that the experience and knowledge of those in industry can shape our curriculum and help make a positive impact on the education for our students. In return, the College will support you in becoming a fully qualified teacher by funding a level 5 teaching qualification, offering a reduced teaching time and by arranging intense support such as work shadowing, team teaching and mentoring
