Payroll Manager, 6 month FTC - Further Education - London with hybrid working

This is an exciting time to join a top performing Further Education College.

Reporting into the Director of Human Resources and Organisational Development you will be responsible for delivering, overseeing and holding full responsibility for all payroll processes. Your key accountabilities will include:-

• Ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of the payroll service, including oversight of the delivery of the monthly payroll cycle and line management of the HRIS and payroll team

• Calculating and processing payments for all staff, new employees and leavers

• Liaising with Finance to ensure that all accounting for payroll and pensions is complete

• Providing payroll and system project support on any TUPEs, mergers, or acquisitions

You should have a track record of managing a monthly payroll and public sector pension schemes. Experience of developing and delivering training needs to be combined with excellent numerical and analytical skills.
