Disrepair Surveyor
12 month FTC
£45,000 per annum

Summary
Morgan Hunt are working with a reputable Housing Association, currently looking for a Disrepair Surveyor to join their property services team.
As a Disrepair Surveyor, you will be responsible for delivering a high quality maintenance services to all customers, through the provision of professional technical advice, project and contract management.
Responsibilities
- Manage disrepair cases from start to finish.
- Manage contractors, ensuring they deliver in accordance with their contract and KPIs.
- Carry out pre-inspections and building surveys to identify defects including preparation of detailed reports, specifications and cost estimates where necessary.
- Provide technical advice on building defects and diagnosis to the organisation, including the day to day responsive repair service.
- To attend and give evidence in court in cases where building regulations have been breached and act as an expert witness.
About you
- HND/HNC or equivalent.
- Knowledge of housing law is essential.
- Experience managing disrepair cases.
- Social housing background.
- Good customer service and communication skills.
