Communications Officer

Morgan Hunt is working with a Housing Association to recruit for a Communications Officer. The Communications officer will help and support the communications team in the day to day running of internal, external communications as well as liaising with stakeholders. This permanent role is paying up to £29,015 , can be worked hybrid at there London or Regional South West England offices.

Key Responsibilities of the new Communications Officer :

• To work closely with the Communications Manager in the planning and delivery of the organisation's communications activities and campaigns, including inputting ideas for content and events.
  
• To produce high-quality communications materials including carrying out research, proof reading publications and liaising with external suppliers to ensure they are delivered in a timely manner.
  
• To research and write content including news stories and case studies, for the organisations internal and external channels such as the intranet, website and company wide newsletters.
  
• To support and contribute towards corporate, staff and resident engagement events and openings of new developments, including sourcing venues, commissioning photography, and managing invitations.
  
  Previous Skills and Experience of the new Communications Officer :
  
• Minimum of one-year's experience of working in a Communications or PR environment or a related degree and understanding the public sector and/ or social housing.
  
• An understanding of different digital and social media platforms , Knowledge and / or experience using CMS or design software
  
• Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines, creative with ability to work on own initiative
  
• Ability to travel between our regional offices and housing developments across the South of England
