Senior Change Project Manager

Job description

Morgan Hunt are working with a Housing Association based in central London to find a Senior Change Project Manager on a permanent basis. The role is key to a number of essential process improvement projects that the organisation has in the pipeline.

The role

  • Develop and manage programmes and projects within the organisations framework to include definition and development and maintenance of project initiation documents
  • Manage all aspects of programme and project engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, change, risks and issues
  • Set up and continually manage project and programme expectations while delegating and managing deliverables with project team members and stakeholders
  • Provide leadership as well as coaching to the project and programme teams.
  • Motivate team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones
  • Lead on change management and deliver change management activities as part of the project planning and delivery
  • Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path
  • Provide detailed and high-quality reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership levels
  • Understand and manage interdependencies between technology and business needs including the impact on those areas
  • Deliver proposals, requirements documentation, options appraisals, cost-benefit analysis and business cases in line with project deliverables to various audiences, including project team, sponsors and key senior stakeholders

Key Skills required

  • Candidates who have previously worked on significant Housing Change projects would be of particular interest
  • A highly experienced Senior Project Manager/ Programme Manager with demonstrable skills and experience in delivery of projects
  • Excellent IT skills - high level of experience of Microsoft Project, Visio, databases, process mapping and Excel spreadsheets
  • Strong experience of project planning and delivery across the entire project and programme lifecycle including different project methodologies including Prince2, MSP, Agile
  • Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple business areas
  • Strong experience of building and maintaining relationships with business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems and achieve objectives
  • Demonstrable communication skills; both written and oral with technical and non-technical staff, all levels of management
  • Proven ability to work in a changing environment and collaborate across multiple areas in order to achieve a common business objective
