Project Surveyor (Disrepair)

£51,295 per annum

Summary

An exciting opportunity for a talented Project Surveyor to join a reputable housing association based in South London.

Working in part of the Asset Management team, you will be responsible for assisting the Senior Project Surveyor to ensure contracts and works are delivered on time and in a cost-effective manner.

Responsibilities

• Manage a variety of disrepair cases, ensuring they are dealt with efficiently.
• Keep up to date with any changes in legislation and health and safety compliance.
• Effectively manage and supervise staff when delivering various projects.
• Prepare programmes, budgets, risk assessments and cash flow forecasts for individual projects and manage implementation to the highest possible quality and safety standards.
• Advise residents on building maintenance issues in their own home and at resident forums.
• Provide technical and non-technical advice to other staff members within the team.
• To monitor and keep accurate records of progress on site, including a record of any variations, snagging and health and safety records. Accurately update Orchard and APEX on the progress of all jobs

About you

• Membership of RICS, CIOB or equivalent experience.
• Experience in contract and budget management.
• Experience in surveying and project management.
• Experience specifying and tendering work.
