Disrepair Surveyor

Summary
Morgan Hunt are working with a leading social housing provider, currently looking for a highly skilled Disrepair Surveyor to join their team on a full time permanent basis.
You will be responsible for overseeing building pathology matters from inspection through to competition, whilst managing case correspondence.
Responsibilities
- Case works inspection, prescription, management and ownership from creation to completion.
- Professional commentary, review and support through engagement with other stakeholders on case matters.
- Liaise with customers, delivery partners and legal council.
- Support in the diagnosis and management of all non-day-to-day repairs (major works and complex cases).
- Manage your own workload to diagnose and manage property defects, disrepair and larger pieces of work including ad hoc planned replacements.
- Manage leaseholder and third party enquiries.
- Carry out detailed risk assessments and reviews in line with current regulations.
About you
- Experience and/or relevant professional qualification.
- Experience working with Disrepair Protocol and delivering legal responsibilities.
- Ability to instruct larger pieces of work, ensuring H&S and risk management.
- Full UK Driving License and access to own vehicle required.
