Morgan Hunt are currently working with one of the UK's Government Executive Agencies in their search for an interim Compliance Officer to support the organisation to ensure it fully meets all legal and regulatory requirements
You will be responsible for representing the organisation with regards to onboarding new clients, and the ongoing delivery of existing clients. You will provide advice and guidance across the organisation in relation to compliance, complaints, and data requests.
You will also be responsible for writing policies and procedures (including the creation of, and reviewing and approving organisational financial promotions and customer facing documents to ensure that they adhere to the relevant regulations and procedures).
This role would be perfect for an experienced Compliance Officer, ideally with experience within a regulated financial services environment and a thorough understanding of the UK's Public Sector and legislative processes. The successful candidate will be a flexible, interpersonal and motivated self-starter with strong communication and leadership skills.
You will have In-depth knowledge and understanding of all rules, regulations, codes of practice, guidance and industry best practice relating to advertising and customer communications applicable in the financial services industry. You will also have working knowledge of the FCA's rules relevant to retail financial services/cash deposits, in particular BCOBS, and the ASA codes of conduct for advertising.
This is an interim opportunity working on a hybrid working basis (2 days per week in the office) located in either London, Durham, Lytham or Glasgow.
