Hybrid working - Holborn

£180 - £225 Per day

6 Months Contract with possible extension

Possible perm opportunity at the end of the contract

This role is a Maternity cover and will be Reporting to audit project manager

My Client:

My client are a leading membership body in the UK that are looking for a Data Analyst to join their team.

Role includes:

• Manage the secure handling of complex audit datasets and the analysis of data with a primary focus on an audit programme.
• Present findings of data analysis work to experts and work with the project team, including the audit clinical lead and statistician
• Produce reporting outputs for at local, regional and national level, including the development of annual report key findings.
• Producing data reports, manipulating data processing, data capturing and dealing with stakeholders.
• Creating analysis plans and report structures that are in line with the agreed datasets, whilst working closely with the project clinical leads, data platform suppliers and managers.
• Analyse data to produce unit, regional and national level results, identifying trends and outliers as defined by the agreed analysis plan and dataset requirements.
• Establishing and maintaining robust data management, security and manipulation processes in line with data governance and protection requirements.
• Support the production of reports aimed at different audiences such as clinicians, healthcare policy decision makers and patient stakeholders.
• Act as a point of contact for audit data, technical and analysis enquiries from those submitting data for analysis.
• Lead in the planning of analytical processes for planned data analysis projects.
• Contribute to key components of departmental and project reports including interpreting the data analysis and writing editorial content.
• Any other duties as required to support the College, the work of the audits programme of work and Research and QI Division

Essentials:

• Previous experience as a Data Analyst Ideally has worked in public sector or Membership body
• Experience of analysing large and complex datasets and applying appropriate advanced analytical methodologies including regression analysis.
• Experience of producing and presenting high quality written reports, documentation and promotional information suitable for a range of audiences
• Experience of working with SPSS/Stata and Microsoft Excel for cleaning, aggregating, recoding, and merging data, computing new variables, and producing descriptive statistics.
• Confident in working with R, R-studio, SAS or SQL.
• Strong IT skills, particularly in MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint
• Self starter who can hit the ground running
• High level of numeracy and ability to handle and interrogate large, complex datasets in Excel or statistical packages along with knowledge of statistical methods of analysis and data cleaning, processing and management

Desirable

• Experience of developing data export, outputs and dashboard reporting functions in data capture and processing platforms
• Experience of preparing data for presentation to healthcare commissioners and regulators at various levels of granularity of NHS organisations
