Head of Data and Insight

£55,000-£60,000 Benefits

Hybrid

• My client is a well established charity looking for a Head of Data and Insight who will be responsible for Formulating an inspiring data and insight roadmap, ensuring the translation of data into actionable insight leads to strong outcomes.

Your role-

• Lead and develop the Data and Insight strategy and its execution across the business and with external stakeholders.
• Be the strategic vision holder for data and insight at the charities and communicate this vision to the funders and partners.
• Develop opportunities for partnership working with our stakeholders around novel uses of data to produce new insights/solutions for consumers.
• Validate our user data against national patterns and trends (including our Monitor data) and introduce external sources of data (e.g., purchasing data, hospital admissions) to enrich our understanding of the environment.

To be successful you will have -

• High level of analytical skills: problem-solving, critical thinking, creative thinking.
• Excellent communication skills, to clearly articulate your insights and champion an exciting data culture.
• Experience with understanding complex business problems, and ability to match them to the right statistical techniques.
• Proficient in the use of Excel, e.g. use of Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.
• Experience working with Google Analytics, Firebase datasets.
• Experience manipulating data with SQL/NoSQL and Python.
• Experience with big datasets and the tools to work with them (e.g. GCP/AWS, Hadoop, BigQuery).
