MEMBER SERVICES ADVISOR NEEDED (Hawker Centre)

Duties included below:

• Welcome people arriving at the, centre (reception) giving advice and answering enquiries about the programmes and services on offer.
• Ensure all customer enquiries are followed up (whether they are face to face, by telephone, letter, e-mail or website) and tracking/follow up procedures are implemented.

• Assist the team in the provision of excellent customer care which meets the needs of every current and prospective user.
• Explore all means of attracting new prospects by organising membership drives such as: open days, member referrals, corporate sales, communication with former members, and internal and external promotions.
• Promote the gym and group exercise classes through use of social media and sales promotions and contribute to the marketing plan
• Create sales leads through outreach such as, distributing leaflets, conducting sales calls, developing community links and relationship marketing with other businesses and partners.
• Be responsible for the effective and accessible distribution, display and presentation of promotional material within the centre.
• Complete manual and computerised records relating to membership and bookings of facilities.

You will need to make sure all existing members are satisfied with their membership and level of service at all times. A proactive approach is needed to retain members by contacting current members at strategic points of the Customer Journey.
