Credit Controller

We are currently recruiting for a Credit Controller to join Morgan Hunt on a full time, permanent basis. Our offices are a short walk from Liverpool Street Station, in the heart of the City of London.

Salary: £30,000-£32,000

Responsibilities:

• Chasing all outstanding invoices by phone and email
• Ensuring that all chase notes are updated on the credit control system
• Deal with disputes quickly and efficiently using your own initiative
• Manage clients who have failed our credit check procedure and those who have poor payment history
• Have a wider understanding of the entire sales ledger and credit control process
• Review bank statements and matching remittances to payments
• Allocate cash within the credit control system accurately
• Update cash collection figures and targets daily
• Export client data between systems to ensure our pay and bill team recognise new clients
• Complete credit checks for new businesses we're looking to trade with and discussing results with Manager
• Post client payments to the credit control system
• Review self-bills received from clients and matching to internal invoices
• Complete monthly reporting for the business and banking in the managers absence

Requirements:

• Credit Control background within a recruitment agency setting
• Strong Excel knowledge - Vlookup, pivot tables and other Microsoft packages
• Excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to build good rapport with external and internal stakeholders.
• Previous use of Access products Financials and Pay & Bill (desirable).
• Ability to work closely in a small team and thrive under pressure.
