Job description

Morgan hunt are currently seeking an Receptionist/Administrator to work within an NHS Site, located in North London.

Your duties will be;

  • To operate a desktop PC, arranging appointments, drafting and typing of letters, typing of assessments, and any general correspondence as requested by the team.
  • To receive information/referrals, both verbal and written from patients, GP's, carers and staff which require tact and sensitivity.
  • To ensure all messages given verbally, written or by telephone are passed on to the correct discipline within an agreed timescale.
  • To have a good working knowledge of the Trust's patient medical records system "RiO".
  • Check the Admin in-box and book rooms as requested.
  • Complete any other requests from the Admin in-box
  • Keep reception area clean and tidy. Remove unwanted papers/cups from the tables and tidy chairs at regular intervals throughout the day.
  • Keep a log of stationary stock

Education/Training
Essential criteria

  • NVQ3 or equivalent or relevant practical experience.

Knowledge
Essential criteria

  • Full range of administrative procedures, software programmes.
  • Relevant Trust policies and procedures.

Experience
Essential criteria

  • Managing busy workload and conflicting priorities.
  • Handling confidential and sensitive information in accordance with the Data Protection Act
  • Working in a team.

Start date: ASAP

End date: 3 months

Hours: Full-Time | Monday to Friday (37.5hrs per week)

Pay: £12 PH Plus Holiday pay = £13.45 PH
