Summary
Morgan Hunt are working with a small housing organisation based in South London who are looking for a Building Surveyor on a 3 - 6 month contract.
Responsibilities
- Working on a variety of different planned maintenance projects, varying from cyclical works, kitchens and bathrooms, roofs and windows, heating etc.
- As a Building Surveyor, you will be required to write detailed specifications.
- Carry out site and structural inspections; analysing building defects; determining causes; reporting; and specifying and supervising appropriate action.
- Deal with party wall matters.
- Manage contractors effectively.
About you
- MRICS is highly desirable.
- Experience surveying residential properties.
- Strong contract management skills.
- Ability to write detailed reports and specify works.
- Building related qualification/degree or similar.
