Grounds Maintenance Operative

Morgan Hunt are recruiting for an Grounds Maintenance Operative to work with an Housing Trust based in Sutton on a Temporary basis. The details of the job are below:

Hours: Full-time 36 hours 8.00am to 4pm Mon - Fri

Pay Rate: £11.00 per hour 1.32 WTR Total £12.32ph

Location: Sutton

Duration: 6 months on going contract

Must have full clean driving licence

Job summary:

• To undertake regular grounds maintenance eg grass cutting, border maintenance, hedge cutting and seasonal pruning etc.
• To contribute to the continual improvement of gardens and grounds on the Community sites.
• To contribute to safe and secure pathways and to carry out maintenance as required on the Community sites.
• To develop ward garden areas for the benefit of our residents.
• To take part in the maintenance and upkeep of plant containers and water bedding plants as required.
• Control of garden machinery in a safe manner and report any faults to the Grounds & Gardens Officer.
• Work in a safe manner that does not endanger other persons on site, wearing appropriate PPE as required to complete tasks safely.
• To be compliant in trust polices and mandatory training.
