Maintenance Surveyor

Summary
Morgan Hunt are working with a leading social housing provider, currently looking for a Maintenance Surveyor to join their team on a full time permanent basis.
You will be responsible for ensuring the organisations homes and works are carried out to a high standard and in line with relevant policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Carry out technical assessments and inspections to identify appropriate remedial works including damp inspections.
- Liaise with specialists when necessary on structural works to ensure the organisations losses are mitigated.
- Carry out inspections following reports of disrepair.
- Ensure work is completed within pre-agreed time constraints and within budget.
- Inspect tenant improvements and determine outcome for changes made to their home.
About you
- Good knowledge of construction, building pathology and building defects.
- Sound knowledge of CDM regulations.
- Project management skills.
- Experience carrying out fire risk assessments is desirable.
- Degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject is desirable.
