Housing Advice Worker

Job description

I am currently looking for a Housing Advice Worker to work for one of my clients across West London. The position is Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm. The temporary position is going on for around 2 months with the possibility of extension.

The main purpose of the role is to conduct assessments for Offenders 18 to identify what support route they will need around Housing, Employment and Financial needs. The client group have had previous issues with Mental Health and Complex Needs.

Duties:

• Conducting Assessments around Housing, Employment and Financial needs
• Working with users on a brief intervention basis to advice around obtaining accommodation
• Assist them in improving quality of life and moving towards independence
• Communicate with external agencies to ensure your client has all the relevant support needs
• Conducting work shops one to one and within the community with your clients
