Child Trafficking Guardian

Hours: 37.5 per week
Location: Remote working and visiting clients around North London

Assignment: 3 to 6 months (possibility of extension)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 09:00-17:00

We are looking for a Child Trafficking Guardian to join the leading children's charity that we are working closely alongside. This unique opportunity will grant the successful candidate the chance to protect and support teenagers who have been trafficked to advocate and help familiarise themselves around social welfare, immigration, and the criminal justice system.

As a Child Trafficking Guardian, you will:

• Hold a caseload of teenagers and be flexible in terms of travelling to meet them from time to time.
• Give practical support such as help with housing needs, medical needs and education.
• Train professionals who are working with children to help spot the signs of trafficking.
• Advocate for your clients by speaking up on their behalf.

To be successful you will need to:

• Have experience working with vulnerable families and children, especially teenagers.
• Have a drive in engagement and support.
• Have previous experience managing your own caseload.
• You must have an enhanced, adult and child DBS check to apply for this post, if you need one, get in touch.
