Rough Sleeper Navigator

We are looking for a Rough Sleeper Navigator to join one of our leading clients team in East London. This brilliant opportunity will allow the successful candidate to thrive by supporting the most vulnerable and marginalised clients in our society. Your main responsibility will be to carry a caseload of homeless clients who have varied support needs and provide holistic and coordinated support for each individual from your first point of contact on the streets, to securing them a place to call home and a comfortable lifestyle.

If you live for challenge and excel in pressurised environments, this could be your dream position. Working with service users that are hard to engage and supporting them to become more integrated within the community and access opportunities they didn't believe possible.

As a Rough Sleeper Navigator, you will:

• Carry a caseload of 10-15 vulnerable clients who have a history of rough sleeping.
• Provide holistic support for your clients as you will be with them from their time on the streets to their move-on journey.
• Build and maintain healthy and positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Assistance with tenancy sustainment, emotional support, etc.

To be successful you will need to:

• Experience working with the homeless and vulnerable service users.
• You must have managed a caseload of clients.
• Have an engaging persona and a determined attitude whilst also being passionate and empathetic towards the social care sector.
• Be flexible regarding work hours as you may be called out for an early shift to target clients should the service need you.
• You must have an enhanced, adult and child DBS check to apply for this post, if you need one, get in touch.
