SOFTPLAY WORKER ROLE AVAILABLE! 45 HOURS P/W

Job Purpose

To work as part of the Children and Family Work Department in providing a safe, welcoming environment for families attending Pod Soft play sessions.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure the Pod is clean and tidy for the arrival of customers.
  • Ensure all resources within the Pod are used appropriately, and challenge adults if this is not the case.
  • Relate to, and communicate effectively with families using the Pod.
  • Help promote effective teamwork in conjunction with other staff and volunteers.
  • Keep an accurate record of attendance using the YMCA's online booking app, Mindbody (training will be provided)
  • Ensuring customers are made aware of future YMCA events
  • Ensure customers are aware of services delivered within the Children and Families department.
  • Answer customer queries in relation to booking soft play sessions
  • Ensure the notice board is aesthetic and displaying in date documents.

Health and Safety

  • Be aware of health and safety procedures and the YMCA's health and Safety policy.
  • Ensure that daily Health and Safety checklists are carried out and any hazards identified are reported to the Recreational Manager.
