Job description
I am currently looking for a Young People Support Worker to work within one of our charities based in Lewisham. Within the Young People Support Worker role you will be expected to work a rota with the shifts being 8.30am - 3.30pm, 11.00am - 8.00pm and 3.00pm - 10.30pm.
Responsibilities within the Yong People Support Worker role:
- Work with 5 young people to conduct key working sessions resulting in support plans
- Complete needs and risk assessments
- Helping Young People around independence and preparing them for Move on
- Ensuring there are no safeguarding concerns within the accommodation
- Supporting Young people around Work, education and employment
- Helping young people maximise income and benefits
For this role you will need an Enhanced DBS within a year or one that is on the update service.
