Client

My client is a leading further education organisation based in southwest London who are looking for an infrastructure engineer who will provide 2nd/3rd line support to the help desk for issues and requests. This position will require maintaining and troubleshooting support of Exchange and Office 365 mail, Azure and Windows Server, as well as implementing any required improvements.

Your Day to Day Roles & Responsibilities -

• You will maintain and troubleshoot applications, systems and servers used - including backup and restoration
• Work with the Head of IT to develop and maintain the security procedures for the network.
• Share management load of O365 services (Azure Active Directory, Teams, Intune, Autopilot)
• Perform proactive and reactive maintenance on systems and applications as well as Monitor and maintain a high level of performance, and device compliance, reporting and rectifying issues found

What you need to be successful -

• Practical experience in managing cloud technologies e.g. Azure/M365
• Proven interpersonal and communication skills communicating with diverse customers of varying levels of IT experience
• Practical experience in managing anti-virus software and firewalls
• Extensive knowledge of Windows servers, AD, Exchange /O365, VMware and Microsoft Certificate Services
• Familiarity with storage system technologies and implementation strategy
