Job description

Are you a Project Manager, looking for a new exciting, flexible role, at a leading Housing Association, that is making a positive difference to the communities they serve?

£52,000 - £55,000 per annum (compressed hours, EAP, contributory pension scheme)

12 months Fixed Term Contract.

Very Flexible, Hybrid working.

The purpose of the role is to manage an array of change projects across multiple stakeholder groups, ensuring that the full requirements of business areas are understood well and that projects are developed, coordinated and delivered successfully.

In this role, you will be planning and tracking project delivery and timelines, creating the right environment where teams are ready for change, and it is embedded well to attain the full potential value.

As part of the Strategy & Planning Directorate, you will take a lead on producing and developing practices that promote a change enabled business. You report to the Strategic Change Delivery Manager.

Your role, as a Project Manager -

  • Identify resources, set up and lead a project team to manage operational aspects of a project- including identification support & of any business users at the organisation during the delivery of projects.
  • Create & deliver project work plans, communication plans and business readiness activities.
  • Work with operational managers to embed changes. Identifying what changes in processes, procedures and practices are needed to achieve change and deliver the planned benefits.

What you need to be successful as a Project Manager:

  • Excellent communication skills, with strong scoping & stakeholder management skills.
  • Direct experience of a data workstream on a project.
  • Experience of working on a project with a key data element (e.g., digital project) equally, some exposure to systems migration.
  • Some exposure to / understanding of data artefacts such as ROPAs, IARs (Record of Processing Activity, Information Asset Register) would be beneficial.
  • Ability to create solid plans, understanding of critical path and dependencies
  • Experience of working with both technical and business change project deliveries

  • Experience and knowledge of project and change management principles, methodologies and tools.
