Project Support & PA - Supporting Finance Department & Director

Permanent

£35,000 - £45,000 Depending upon experience

Mix of home and office working

Office - Holborn

I am working with an incredibly prestigious law firm. They are looking for a Project Support & PA to come and support the Finance Department and Director. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity.

Duties

  • Acting as the focal point for the team's task coordination, ensuring the team is on top of their deadlines and action points, prompting requirements and planning needs as required.
  • Coordinating team meetings - both internal and external meetings. This will include managing the agenda, organising action points, and ensuring all stakeholder needs are managed effectively.
  • Supporting with the teams projects and taking charge of these where required.
  • Organising internal Finance team initiatives, often working in partnership with other members of the team. Coordinating department-wide initiatives / and driving through deliverables in line with the teams' and firm's needs.
  • Working with the leadership team to assemble presentations, draft, input and edit reports and proposals for meetings and planning purposes.
  • Acting as a point of contact for our colleagues cross-departmental / firm-wide initiatives. Servicing a range of requests that may come through.
  • Managing the team's calendars - capturing key deliverables and projects across the department.
  • Managing the team's documents and files - capturing regular changes and ensuring the teams and external auditors have access to recent information.
  • Logging movement and progress of different action points, organising team efforts and work.
  • Taking the initiative to implement improvements and best practice into processes where opportunities arise.
  • Coordinating auditing requirements, liaising with external auditor companies or other financial institutions/3rd parties, supporting with the coordination of requirements, data gathering and organisation of the audit process.
  • Responding to all admin requirements for the team, suggesting ways to present, process and organise. Taking ownership off admin tasks associated with the ongoing initiatives of the team.

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar role working as Pa / Project support to a finance department / director
  • Experience of supporting with Projects
  • Ability to influence and communicate with people at all levels, including senior management.
  • Hard working, enthusiastic, professional with high standards of delivery
  • A strong collaborator, with the ability to work with a range of different working styles.
  • Task management skills.
  • Strong communication, both verbal and written.
  • Strong IT skills, proficient in Microsoft applications
