Morgan Hunt have partnered with an international top 10 law firm who are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join them in a Head of Projects capacity within their Tax & Partnership Accounts team. The role, which can either be based out of London or Belfast will offer you the opportunity to become an integral member of the senior leadership team and a work within an incredibly collaborative culture alongside subject matter experts within global tax and partnership accounting.

The firm, who boast over 600 partners across numerous worldwide territories, have an experienced and consistent tax team of approx 20 people across London, Belfast & Hong Kong covering Partner Accounting & Profit Allocation, International Tax, Tax Governance, Tax Risk, Tax Policy & Tax Structuring.

The Head of Projects will have a breadth of interactions across the firm and will take the lead on a multiple reactive and proactive projects in order to analyse and improve effeciencies, technology and processes globally.

The Head of Projects will:

  • Work collaboratively across the Partnership & Tax team, Global Finance and In House Legal team as well as the wider business, to identify practical solutions and ensure that these are implemented and embedded in the business.
  • Drive change and work collaboratively to identify practical solutions.
  • Constantly review structure and processes to identify improvements.
  • Lead projects in relation to the tax response as a consequence of Brexit, implementation of tax technology, restructuring projects, selection and implementation of global tax compliance software, new office openings & implementation of transfer pricing policies.

The ideal Head of Projects will:

  • Be personable with the ability to develop relationships and communicate with senior stakeholders globally.
  • Have strong project management and IT skills.
  • Be adaptable and flexible in relation to business change.
  • Have a collaborative and intuitive approach to work.
  • Have good knowledge and experience within international tax & accounting issues.
  • Have a tenacity and desire to drive change and improvement alongside subject matter experts.
