Job description

We have a current opportunity for a Director of Property Transformation on a fixed term contract basis ; this is for a 2 year period.

Summary of the role

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Director of Property Transformation will play an essential role in developing the CMA through the support and expertise provided to relocate, expand and develop the seven office locations in our portfolio that are across the UK, to ensure we have a flexible and modern estate equipped with the digital infrastructure and facilities needed to complement our highly skilled and diverse workforce.

Excellent stakeholder management (both within government and specialist consultancy and contracting organisations) is key to this role not only to ensure successful project delivery but to also ensure that the estates infrastructure meets changing service needs.

Sound commercial awareness is needed to manage and oversee annual budgets for the property provision, drive forward best value and best use from the estate and to carry out any acquisition activities as needed.

We are also looking for a candidate with substantial senior leadership experience with an effective and inclusive approach, with the ability to manage and develop high-calibre staff.

A more detailed outline of the role can be found in the attached job description.

Requirements of the role

  • Candidate has a strong background in property transformation rather than facilities management
  • Candidate has significant experience of delivering and developing property transformation programmes within the public sector
  • The post-holder will need to hold a NEBOSH General Certificate in Health and Safety
  • The post-holder will be flexible in travelling to our office locations across the UK as and when needed
