Fire Safety & Project Support Administrator

Temporary - initially 3 months

£14 - £16 per hour

Based in Haringey

I have an exciting opportunity working for a well known Housing Association for a Fire Safety & Project Support Administrator. You will be expected support services across the relevant teams to ensure that continuous improvement has been achieved. You will transforming projects from start to finish as well.


  • To carry out an internal audit of the fire risk cyclical programme and report inefficiencies, gather the correct information by data mining and revise the information currently held.
  • Lead on Creating a database or resource that the Fire Risk Assessors/Surveyors and Building Safety Manager can use to verify building information
  • To maintain all Fire Safety & Asbestos office databases accurately and provide timely periodic and ad-ho reports as part of the organisation's Fire Safety / Fire Safety Management System.
  • Access and follow relevant information on policies and procedures and complete tasks to required standards in line with these.
  • Updating systems/spreadsheet and follow up actions as required
  • Organising meetings and conference calls, booking meeting rooms, ordering catering, taking meeting minutes.
  • Service, attend and minute meetings as required, and assist with preparation.


  • Good understanding of Health and Safety or formal qualification
  • Knowledge of asbestos and experience working with
  • Substantial experience working in a similar role
  • High standard of Excel
  • Proficient use of MS Office package
  • An understanding of the role of the social housing organisation
  • Experience of minute taking
